It was one of a great choice we made on our holiday. On our last trip, we bought ourself a business class seat for our domestic connecting flight.
Our Flight details so you get it why we think this was one of the best choice we have made
First Flight:
We left home at 2 am and flight departed at 6am. We have to drive early because we need to park our car at the rented car park area, which need a bus ride to the airport once the car is parked.
after 1:45 hours flight, we will have a transit for 5:30 hours before the next flight to Malaysia.
Flight to Malaysia took 12 hours and arrived in Malaysia at 7am (the day after. Sweden local time at that time was 1 noon)
Second flight (domestic MAS)
Departure time: 10:30 am. Flight duration 2 hours. Check in open an hour before flight for economy fare.
So this make we have 3:30 hours in between flight.
So, we knew we will be extremely tired when we arrived in Malaysia. That is why this was our great choice to travel.
Check-Iin
We are able to do an early check in. We checked our luggages in directly after we are out from the international arrival hall. There was a special counter for business check-in & luggage drop off. Everything was hassle free. Great start!
After Check-In
Like many business class fares, you will have access to a lounge to seat back and relax while waiting for your flight.
So what can you expect at MAS domestic business class lounge?
The walk to the lounge was not far. But keep in mind, you will need some times to get there because Tax Free Shops are already open for business at 8am! Not complaining at all! There was plenty of shops to go to. Don't miss your flight!

We have 2 hours to spend at the lounge. I didn't expect much at all, since we arrived quite early in the morning.
We took advantage of the lounge.

The staffs at the front desk were very polite and helpful. We were explained what facilities there are for us to use.

The lounge was clean and spacious. The armchairs were very comfortable.
there is dining area at the back and more lounging areas along the window. The buffet was delicious. I had Nasi Lemak and some fruits. I can't recall what more there was. But they do have some options to choose from. Few selections of coffee and teas. Juices.
We did took a shower. We have been traveling for more than a day! We need to freshen up. Badly. I didnt take a picture of their shower room. But it was clean and spacious. Toilet and shower are seperated. Toileteries are provided. So you don't have to worry. Even towels.
Hair drier and even hand towels. Once i was done with the shower, there is a vanity area/changing area for you to get dress.
We went to our gate 20 minutes before departure.
Boarding was hassle free as well. It was so smooth and easy.
Once seated, we were served with a guava juice. It was delish! We had 2 glasses each before the plane even took off. No alcohol served on a short flight.

There is plenty of room for our tired legs to stretch. Even with a foot rest. The seat can stretch quite far back for extra comfort. We did catched some sleep because of it and the comfortable cushion.
It is quieter than sitting in economy class for sure. There weren't many passangers on business class that day. 2 couples and a single traveller.
Like i have mentioned earlier on, even though it is a domestic flight, their business class has plenty of room for everything. Look at how many things we were served with on that flight and we still have the room to take pictures comfortably.

The Nasi Lemak that i had was not bad at all as an airplane food. They still keep the flavour and taste of the dish well. Food was served in porcelain and stainless steel cutleries. I didn't finish my flight brunch since i have eaten at their lounge and i was very tired too.

I don't remember what is the name of the meal my husband had. He said, the meat was a little dry but the taste was good. He did finished his meal and he is quite a fussy eater.

On our flight back, it was an evening flight from Miri. Here we were served with high-tea. It was again, not disappointing for a domestic flight. It was even better than our flight in. The food was not dry like most airplane food. It was very well seasoned and the flavour was great.
Service onboard:
The stewardess were very helpful and friendly. They talk to passengers and even jokes.
My rating:
9/10 ( i give another 1 more point if there is atleast beer)
Will i fly with MAS business class again?
Absolutly!
PS: Do check their business class fare before you make a booking with economy class. Sometimes the fare different are do'able.
