I am glad that i gave this a try. So glad that i chose to share it with you guys. Like i have mentioned on my instagram, if you are looking for a great hair product that will make your hair look instantly fuller and thicker, you will like this product as well. 

Nioxin's founder, Eva Graham started her research back in 1987 which resulted the birth of this brand after she lost half of her hair after the birth of her child. Since the birth of NIOXIN, it has since gained its popularity all over the world. Back in 2015 Stylist Choice Awards, NIOXIN won the Favorite Fine/Thinning Hair Line for 14th Year in a row.

 I came across diaboost HTX when I was on a hunt for the right scalp treatment (I will have the review on my scalp treatment products up by the end of this month. It is also by Nioxin). There was barely a second thought on if I should or should not buy it back then. It was considered sold the moment I saw it contains niacinamide, caffeine and panthenol as its 3 key ingredients. Honestly, when I first used it, my thought was, money well wasted. Again!

 

 My love hate relationship with this product ever since I bought it last August has changed to permanently love. I found out about what it does by coincidence after I stop using the other Nioxin products for 2 weeks. I hate the feeling of wasting my money. So, after the 2 weeks past, I grab this again and that's when I learned and realized what this actually did to my hair. Every single time I washed my hair, I will apply diaboost while it is still damp and let it dry out naturally. When my hair dries, that's when I realize my hair is looking voluminous (I have thin hair due to hairfall). I was sceptical at the beginning. But, the same thing happens every time I applied my diaboost and when I don't, my hair looks thin and flat.

What i like?

It does make my hair looks thicker and fuller without weighting and leaving it feeling sticky. I get the volume that dry shampoo gives. But better! (⚠️, this is not a dry shampoo). With Diaboost, I can run my fingers through my hairs without feeling of dragging my hair (you know, like dry shampoo does). 

If you are wondering if this product makes my hair looking dull and mate, my answer is, no. My hair is looking better with it. It's easy to manage and I think my hair is looking healthy with it too. It is also did not make my hair frizzy (like most hair products that can help to create volume). 

What i don't like about it?

The price is too expensive for something temporary. It cost me 529 sek a bottle. The only thing that I like so far about this product is it gives my hair a quick and pretty volume without making my hair looking frizzy and dull. 

What is Diaboost?

Diaboost HTX is an intensive leave-on treatment and is used to increase every hair strand thickness which will make hair looking fuller. 

The fusion of Niacinamide, Panthenol and Caffeine penetrates the hair. This will instantly boost hair diameter and in return will make your head looking fuller whilst giving you a more manageable hair.

Application

The product is clear and gel to watery like consistency. It came out as gel, once it is on your scalp and reacted to the warm of your scalp, it turns into watery consistency. Its pointy nozzle made the application quick and easy. I be able to spray the product onto my scalp all by myself without making a mess.

"On clean, damp hair, apply directly at root area to cover scalp and gently massage for one minute. Comb through hair and style as usual. For exceptional result, apply daily"

Do i recommend this? 

I don't know what this product could provide in a long run (I will update if anything). 
But for the mean time, if you are looking for something that provides instant volume without making your hair looking frizzy, white powder cast (like any dry shampoo does) or dull and matte then you may want to give this a try. Furthermore, during this winter month, you can still have that nice volume even after you take your beanie off.

So, to answer to my own question, I will only recommend this product if you want to achieve daily instant fuller and thicker hair since this is also a treatment for your hair and scalp instead of using a dry shampoo or hair spray. I don't know if this product will do any good in the long run, since i myself just started using it.
