This sheet mask is an organic sheet mask that contain soy isoflavone as its main ingredient which has tons of benefits for skin.

What is Isoflavone?
It is a plant derived compound, Soy.

According to Clinics (Sao Paulo). 2009 Jun; 64(6): 505–510 a research has been done to 30 postmenopausal women on the benefits of Isoflavone. The result showed that Isoflavone has increased the thickness of the epidermis, collagen level, dermal blood vessel, elastic fibers in addition to reduced the papillary index.

According to an article titled Soy Skin Benefits by Karen Hellesvig-Gaskell posted on livestrong.com last updated on Oct 03, 2017 ; benefits of soy is purported to diminish wrinkles, reverse sun damage and even tighten sagging skin.

This sheet mask did not make any instant result promises. But what it does is stating what research has found on the benefits of soy isoflavone in skincare.

My review:

I love how small the packaging is. It is semi matte and slightly velvety to touch.
As i opened the packaging, i was surprise with the amount of the essence it contains. It definitely enough for the second mask! It was literally dripping when i pull out the sheet mask out. I should have gave it a little pressure when i pull it out to press out some of the essence instead of wasting it like what i have done.

The sheet mask is slightly thicker if i would compare it with Korean Tony Moly sheet masks. But it is not a problem. I like it that way since this is a watery essence instead of gel essence like Tony Moly sheet masks. Meaning, having this thickness, it will slow the drying speed.

Eye flap: I remember the first time i encounter the eye flap with other sheet masks. I have no idea what it is for and how to use it if it suppose to be use.
Now, I began to understand the point of having the eye flap! I believe it is there to give that little extra hydration to your eye area. I believe so because, everytime i put on a sheet mask that have this funny looking eye flap, my under-eyes look very well hydrated and it plump up the skin around it and resulting less fine line appearance.



Fitting: I appreciate the attention Mitomo put in the fitting. So many times where i thought the fitting of every sheet masks i wore was just right, until i tried on this sheet mask! It is perfect! It was no effort at all in placing the sheet mask on.

Scent: When it comes to scented skincare product, i easily get put off even if it was by many recommendation. Too much of scent/perfume can make the whole experience turn into nausea. Anyway, this has a very faint (almost none) soapy scent and it did not bother me at all. Mine you, i have a super sensitive to smell.

After

It was like usual, a very calm and relaxing 30 minutes silent therapy for me.  I did what was advised on its packaging, to rub the excess on the skin for maximum absorption.
Another surprise! It took roughly 5 minutes for the essence to totally absorb. It did not leave my face feeling tacky. But instead, it feels so smooth and no tackiness at all!
Like many sheet mask, this one also plump up my skin. I just love how my skin look like everytime i put on sheet mask.

Picture above. It never been a problem before even when i lay my open sheet mask like the picture above. The liquid never did come out. But this one did! That how much product it has! I  should have leave it stand on something instead of laying it down.
If you are wondering why i have the open sheet mask in a zip lock bag, is because i will use the leftover product for the next day. I will soak a compressed sheet mask and boom! i have another sheet mask! 2 in 1! I learnt this from someone i follow on my instagram.

Will i repurchase?
My second Soya sheet mask from Mitomo has just arrived 2 days ago along with their Green Tea Sheet Mask. So YES! I will get some other Mitomos sheet masks.

Do i recommend this?
