It is a little over 3 months since i have used these recommended by Intragen online diagnosis.
But before i proceed, do read about
my scalp problem that lead me to this massive search for the right shampoo.
My first recorded treatment for my problem can be read
here (Nioxin)
Shampoo that has been working so good for few years was
Ginger Shampoo.
Like other treatment, i will take my time (3 months) a try before i can give my honest review.
For this treatment, I did not pick the product myself, it is personalized according to my problem. You can do your
online diagnosis by clicking here.
I gave this treatment for 3,5 months. Had to stop it because it stops working.

My Review:
First 4 weeks, I
followed through with the treatment. But, I stopped using anti hair loss
treatment after the first week. Not because any bad reaction. But, mainly
because I am afraid it will be affecting my sebum and dandruff treatment.
With that 1 week of
applying the anti-hair fall treatment, I do have a thought to share. I realized
that hair fall reduce significantly after 2 days. There was more than half
reduction in hair fall during shower. So, I do think this anti hair fall does
work if I continue using it. But let’s take it later. I want to focus on my
sebum and dandruff first.
My personal thought and how i apply the treatment :
Wash atleast 4 hours before bed
for medium length hair. So, it has time to air dry before going to bed.
Avoid going to bed with wet or damp hair.
Week 2-4
- I washed my hair in daily basis. Alternating between these shampoos. These made up 2-3 washes with each shampoo.
-Towel dry my hair. Apply the dandruff control treatment.
-My husband is the one helping me with the dandruff control treatment. So, my advice is you may want to ask someone with it. So that you will not missed any part of your scalp.
-Massage your scalp after this application. The best part!
-Let it air dry.

Summary:
Shampoo - 2 actives ingredients in Intragen Dandruff Control Shampoo (Piroctone Olamine
and Climbazole) are supposed to help reduce and prevent the
Malassezia yeast from reforming more.
Treatment - same active ingredients as the shampoo. This treatment sprays did not leave neither of my scalp nor my hair feels greasy nor the feeling of having any residue from the product. It absorbs quite fast into the scalp. The nozzle is easy to use, but the pipe in the inside is a little too short. So, I need to tilt the bottle to dispense every single last drop.
Overall, is a good product if you don't have severe dandruff problem.
Recommendation: Maybe if you did not have a severe dandruff problem. But, it is worth a try. It might work for you.

Summary:
Shampoo - Compared to the Dandruff Control line, Sebum balance shampoo has only 1 active ingredients (Phlorogin). It is said that this ingredient in extracted from seaweed. What it does, it supposed to help balancing pH of the skin and moisturizing at the same time.
Thanks to rosemary and sage extract, these two are the one that plays a big role in regulating sebum production and stabilizing the sebaceous secretion.
Overall, is an excellent product to stabilizing sebum secretion without leaving my hair and scalp dry.
Recommendation: Totally recommending you this if you are looking for sebum control product.
Both shampoos smell very
similar to each other. But does any of them work?
Honestly, neither of my
sebum and dandruff disappears immediately. But, I do admit that my sebum has
reduced significantly onto the week 3.
My dandruff on the other
hand, has also reduced. But not gone. Even after week 4 of the treatment. Although,
it did claim "... be much reduced or will have disappeared."
and it does. Only different that I dislike after around week 4 are the
appearances of dryness on my left forehead hairline, few patches at around the
crown of my head and a small pink dandruff patch on the left sideburn (big
flakes and itchy).
There is no conditioner
accompanying any of this line. So, I didn't add any conditioner into my
routine. Even without the conditioner, this treatment did not make my hair
feels dry and frizzy. Instead, my hair feels soft and manageable as if I did
apply conditioner.
After a month, I switch my
Sebum Control Shampoo to S.O.S Shampoo and Dandruff Treatment to S.O.S
Treatment as recommended.
From week 5-8, still
washing my hair in daily basis, I alternately using S.O.S and Dandruff Control
Shampoo and S.O.S Calm Treatment after every wash. Here is where things gone
downhill.
The dry patch on my
hairline seems gone. So does the dry patches on my crown. But dandruff is
slowly coming back. It started at around the back of my ears and above. Then it
spread to the back of my head. I followed through with this treatment until
week 8 (4 weeks), thinking that this is probably a purging process. But at the
end of week 8, I realized that I was wrong. So, to control my dandruff again, I
continue with my dandruff control shampoo and treatment. But, it seems all it
does is it pause the dandruff process instead of stopping it.
With this result, now I am trying another brand,
Davines. Like this and previous one, I will give Davines a total of 3 months a
chance.

This is an unfortunate
product for me sadly. I love the scent. Love love love. It has a very soft,
calming and gentle scent. It reminds me of Johnson & Johnson Almond oil
body wash. This line is supposed to calm my scalp but instead it is causing
irritation. Its leave-on treatment has also that same scent to it. But what I
dislike about it is, it leaves my hair feeling tacky and feels dirty once it
dries out. But I think, the irritation is possibly caused by the perfume.

Summary
Despite the claim of calming sensitive scalp,
it does nothing to my scalp but causing irritation and for that, I gave
zero-star rating. If you are sensitive
to strong scented product, this is not for you.
My online diagnosis
Result of your diagnosis Pronounced loss with the presence of grease
and dandruff together with a sensitive scalp
You are suffering from pronounced hair loss together with the presence
of dandruff and your hair tends to be greasy. Excessive hair loss may be due
to various reasons, ranging from a genetic predisposition to an inadequate
diet or stress, among others. Moreover, excess grease may block the blood
vessels that feed the hair, thus encouraging its loss. The presence of
dandruff further aggravates hair loss. The skin of your scalp is irritated,
and this makes you itch. Constant scratching encourages the production of
dandruff.
Treatment
It is recommendable to begin a treatment to protect and repair the
various different structures of the hair follicle, such as that of the ANTI HAIR LOSS range. Your scalp tends
to be affected by seborrhea. The presence of seborrhea and dandruff further
aggravates hair loss, which makes it recommendable to combine the Anti Hair
Loss treatment with the treatment balancing the secretion of sebum, SEBUM BALANCE and with the
anti-dandruff treatment, DANDRUFF CONTROL. Moreover,
you have a sensitive scalp, which makes it advisable to use a treatment to
relieve the scalp such as S.O.S CALM.
Product List

the full treatment for 1 month the excess grease and dandruff will be much
reduced or will have disappeared. Replace the Sebum
Balance Shampoo with the S.O.S Calm
Shampoo and the Dandruff Control
treatment with the S.O.S Calm
treatment.
Continue to apply the Anti Hair Loss treatment 3 times a week depending on the intensity of the
hair loss and extend the treatment for at least 4 months.
